Cardozo Perciville "C.P." Carlton, 82, 1319 Carlton Chapel Church Road, Warsaw, died Wednesday at home.
Funeral will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Hines Chapel Free Will Baptist Church, with the Rev. Braxton Frederick officiating. Burial with military honors will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Sandhill State Veterans Cemetery.
He was born in Duplin County April 17, 1933, to Willie and Annette Robinson Carlton. He was married to Vashti Jenkins Carlton.
Seven children survive.
Visitation will be Monday from 3 to 6 p.m. at Garris Funeral Home, an hour prior to funeral at the church and at other times, at the home.
