Eugene "Bear" Wooten Jr., 56, 405 N. James St., died Thursday.
Funeral will be Thursday at noon at Mount Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will be in Old Mill Cemetery.
He was born Feb. 15, 1959, in Wayne County to Eugene Wooten Sr. and Dorothy Smith Wooten.
He is survived by three children.
Visitation Wednesday from 2 to 7 p.m., with family present from 6 to 7, at the funeral home. At other times, the family will receive friends at 1556C Tommy's Road, where it will assemble for the funeral procession.
