Bettie (Horne) Hammonds, 68, 601 Spruce St., Apt. C, died Sunday in Kindred Hospital in Greensboro.
She was born Sept. 17, 1946, in Nash County to Fred and Mary Williams Whitted.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in James T. Haskins Memorial Chapel of Haskins Funeral Home. Burial will follow in
Fremont.
Treasured memories are held dear by her sons, Jeffrey Horne, Timothy Horne of Goldsboro and Dean Horne of Winterville, and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
A closed casket visitation will be held Friday from 2 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home. The family will assemble at the funeral home Saturday at 10:45 a.m. in preparation for the service.
