Eloise Smith Sherard, 77, 706 Sunny South St., died Thursday at her residence.
She was born Feb. 7, 1938, in Wayne County to Lindsey and Ora Lee Swinson Smith and is survived by four sons.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Best Grove Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Joe Jackson officiating.
The family will receive friends at the residence where they will assemble in preparation for the funeral service.
Arrangements are by the Haskins Funeral Home.
