Lillian Estelle Evans Mercer, 89, Wilson, passed away Sunday.
Her funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Tuesday at Joyner's Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park in Wilson. The Rev. Johnny Sullivan will officiate.
The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Monday evening at Joyner's Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway in Wilson, and other times at the home of her daughter, Janie Cockrell.
Estelle is survived by her daughter, Janie Mercer Cockrell and husband, Philip, of Wilson, and her sons, Claude Allen Mercer of Nash County and Donald Ray Mercer and wife, Vikki, of Goldsboro.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Allen Mercer Sr.; her son, Marvin Earl Mercer; three sisters; and one brother.
The family would like to express its gratitude and thanks to all the caregivers at WilMed Nursing.
