James Forrest Coston, 71, Rose Hill, died Saturday at Kenansville Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Funeral will be at Island Creek AME Church in Rose Hill Friday at 1 p.m., with the Rev. Ruth Pugh officiating. Burial will be at Duplin Memorial Gardens in Teachey.
He was married to Patricia S. Coston.
He is survived by two sons and four daughters.
Visitation will be 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Rose Hill Funeral Home in Rose Hill.
