GUSTAVO A. PONCE
May 25, 1966-April 10, 2015Gustavo A. Ponce, 48, passed away suddenly Friday, April 10, 2015.
Gustavo was born in Mexico on May 25, 1966. He was employed with Overman Farms and was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.
Surviving is his loving family, his parents, Arturo and Eloisa Ambriz Ponce of Mexico; wife, Jeanette Heath Ponce; two daughters, Bianca Michelle Ponce and Kelly Marie Ponce of Goldsboro; four brothers, Pedro Ponce and wife, Maria, Arturo Ponce Jr. and wife, Magdalena, Enrique Ponce and wife, Rosalva and Cuco Ponce and wife, Chenca; three sisters, Maria Avila and husband, Samuel, Challo Torres and husband, Jose and Raquel Baltazar and husband, Roberto; father-in-law, Edward Heath; mother-in-law, Betty Gooding; many special nieces and nephews including a very extra special nephew, Daniel Ponce.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Pablo Ponce.
A Spanish mass will be held today at 6 p.m. from the chapel of Howell Funeral Home in Goldsboro with visitation to immediately follow. An English celebration of life service will be held Monday at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Howell Funeral Home in Goldsboro. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in LaGrange. The family will receive friends prior to the funeral from 1 until 1:45 p.m.
