Sudie Hobbs Jordan, 88, Faison, passed away at her home Saturday, March 7, 2015.
She is survived by her two sons, Ronnie Jordan and his wife, Gwen, of Faison and Randy Jordan and his wife, Jennette, also of Faison; a brother, Jim Hobbs of Fayetteville; six grandchildren, Dee Jellicorse and her husband, John, Blythe Jordan and his wife, Sherry, Brittia Rivard and her husband, Mark, Sarah Henderson and her husband, Timmy, Kasey Garner and her husband, Darren, and Ronda Holloman and her husband, Charlie Mac; 10 great-grandchildren; and a daughter-in-law, Carolyn Jordan.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Calvin and Callie Dixon Hobbs; her husband, James Delmus Hobbs; two sons, Stevie and Jimmy Jordan; and several brothers and sisters.
Mrs. Sudie formerly had owned and operated the convenience store known as the Sycamore Center "Snack Bar" in Faison for several years.
Services will be held Monday, March 9, 2015, at Faison United Methodist Church, where Mrs. Sudie was a former member, at 2 p.m. in the afternoon, with the Rev. Jabe Largan and pastor Dock Hobbs officiating the service. Entombment will follow at Wayne Memorial Park in Dudley immediately after the service.
The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service beginning at 1 p.m. and at other times, at the residence of Mrs. Sudie located on Hicks Street in Faison.
Flowers are welcome or memorials may be directed to Faison United Methodist Church in her memory.
