Ewotha Gay Sr., 82, 278 David Bright Road, Faison, died Friday at Sampson Regional Medical Center in Clinton.
Funeral will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Moses Chapel Disciple Church of Christ, with pastor Kendall Clark officiating. Burial will be in Cobbs Cemetery.
Born in Nash County, he was the son of the late Eugene Gay Sr. and Susie Cooper Gay, and husband of Oglatha Faison Gay.
Eight children survive.
Visitation will be tonight 3 to 7 at Garris Funeral Home chapel, with the family present 6 to 7. At other times the family will receive friends at the home.
