Robert Rex Cottle, 55, Calypso/Mount Olive area resident, died Wednesday morning, Jan. 7, 2015, in Pender County.
He was a carpenter and owner of Cottle Framing, and is survived by his wife, Lori G. Cottle; mother, Shirley Jernigan Deal of Mount Olive; daughters, Jessica Elizabeth Cottle of Carolina Beach and Sarah Marie Cottle of Rocky Point; stepdaughter, Brooke Leigh Wood of Lillington; brothers, Sonny Cottle and David Cottle both of Faison; sister, Nettie Leisa Lundy of Smithfield; and grandchildren, Lillian "Lilly" Cottle-Holland, Caylum Sauls, Alyssa Sauls and Andrew Wood.
His father, Avery Lee Cottle, is deceased.
Funeral service will be Saturday, Jan. 10, at 4 p.m. at Tyndall Funeral Home, Mount Olive, with pastor Richard Cuddington and pastor Dustin Bannister officiating.
Visitation will be during the hour before the service. Family is also being received at his mother's residence, Rex Cottle Lane, Mount Olive.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to one's favorite charity.
