Oscar Leland Parrish, 85, died Monday at Johnston Medical Center in Smithfield.
Funeral will be tonight at 6 in the chapel of Casey Funeral Home, with the Rev. Clay Meadows and the Rev. Gene Dewitt officiating. Burial will be Friday at 11 a.m. in Parrish Memorial Church Cemetery.
He was the son of the late Michael Parrish and Prissie Worley Parrish, born Jan. 7, 1929, in Johnston County. He was married to Annie Ruth Futrell Parrish.
He is survived by two daughters.
Visitation will be tonight 5 to 6 and immediately after the service at Casey Funeral Home chapel.
