Joel Elmore Sutton, 87, LaGrange, died Monday.
Funeral will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Rouse Funeral Home, with the Rev. Ronnie Hobgood officiating. Interment will be at Pinelawn Memorial Park.
He was born June 17, 1927, in Lenoir County to the late Ben E. Sutton and Mary Elmore Sutton. He was married to the late Margaret Aldridge Sutton.
He is survived by a son.
Visitation will be Friday from 10 to 11 a.m. at Rouse Funeral Home.
