Jeffery Wayne Kornegay, 54, 2415 W. Vernon Ave., Kinston, died Monday, April 14, 2014, at Lenoir Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will take place at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 19, at Caswell Center Memorial chapel, with the Rev. Allen Ham officiating. Burial will follow in Caswelll Center Memorial Cemetery.
Survivors include his mother, Hilda Kornegay of Dudley; father, Norwood "Sam" Kornegay; a brother, William Glenn Kornegay; and the staff of 104 Byrum.
Visitation will take place Friday, April 18, at Robert Swinson Jr. Memorial Chapel from 4 to 6 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, send contributions to the Caswell Center Memorial Foundation.
Swinson Funeral Services at 208 E. Blount St., Kinston, N.C., is in charge of arrangements.
