Billy Ray Howell, 60, Church of God Road, passed away Monday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Graveside services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Howell Cemetery, Mount Carmel Church Road in Pikeville.
Mr. Howell was born in Wayne County June 1, 1953, to the late William and Eula Hare Howell.
He is survived by his three sisters, Peggy Jones and husband, Victor, Maggie Talton and husband, Herbie and Betty Jean Lemke all of Pikeville.
The family expresses a special thank you to SMOC and Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Howell Funeral Home and Crematory in Goldsboro.
