WALLACE, S.C. -- Alice Faye Ward Hare Allen, 70, a resident of Wallace, S.C., passed away late in the afternoon Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 28, 2013, at Hospice of Scotland County Morrison Manor in Laurinburg, N.C.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Dec. 3, at 3 p.m. at Tyndall Funeral Home in Mount Olive, and will be officiated by the Rev. Lee Britt. Burial will follow in Maplewood Cemetery in Mount Olive.
Visitation will be at the funeral home Monday, Dec. 2, from 7 to 9 p.m. At other times, the family will be at the home of James and Sharon Hare, 126 Maysville School Road, Mount Olive.
Mrs. Allen is survived by two daughters, Kay Capps and husband, Mike, of Willow Springs; and Delores Brickhouse and husband, Mario, of Four Oaks; two sons, James Hare and wife, Sharon, of Mount Olive; and Thomas Hare of the home; nine grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
