EDNA GRAY HERRING WILLIAMSON

Mrs. Edna Gray Herring Williamson, 87, formerly of Mount Olive, passed away Friday, Oct. 25, 2013, at Mary Gran Nursing Center in Clinton.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 27, in the Southerland-Wells Family Cemetery on Williamson Road, Mount Olive, with the Rev. Paul Rose officiating. The family will receive friends following.
Mrs. Williamson, born in Duplin County, was the daughter of the late Noah Herring and Mittie Goff Herring and was the widow of James Edward Williamson. She was a retired cook and member of Rones Chapel Methodist Church.
She is survived by daughters, Linda W. Jones (Bill) of Mount Olive; Debbie W. Beasley (Terry) of Apex; Ellen Moody (Rex) of Clinton, and Ann Neal of Oxford; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Willie Ray Herring of Mount Olive.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to a church of one's choice.
