NEWTON GROVE -- Scott Smith Westbrook Sr., 89, 419 Main St., died Tuesday.
Funeral will be tonight at 6:30 at Pleasant Union Christian Church in Newton Grove, with the Rev. Richard Wiekel and the Rev. Anthony Westbrook officiating. Graveside service will be 11 a.m. Friday at Hillcrest Cemetery in Newton Grove.
He was born Dec. 25, 1923, in Sampson County to John and Sannie Westbrook of Newton Grove. He was married to Shelvia Westbrook.
He is survived by a daughter and a son.
Visitation will follow the funeral in the fellowship hall of Pleasant Union Christian Church. At other times, the family will be at the home of Sarah and Jeff Bradshaw, 1033 Pearson Road, Clinton.
Arrangements are by West and Dunn Funeral Home of Newton Grove.
