Kenneth Joseph Holloman Sr., 83, passed away early Friday morning, Aug. 2, 2013, at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, Aug. 5, 2013, at 2 p.m., in the chapel of Tyndall
Funeral Home. Burial will follow the funeral at Wayne Memorial Park, Dudley.
The family will receive friends this afternoon, from 3 to 5 p.m. at the funeral home, and at other times at the home.
He is survived by two sons, Kenneth J. Holloman Jr., of Tampa, Fla. and Steve R. Holloman and his wife, Ana, of Sandy, Utah; two brothers, Leonard A. Holloman of Mount Olive, and Edward E. Holloman of Goldsboro; two sisters, Peggy H. Edwards, and Janice H. Martin, both of Mount Olive; and four grandchildren, Shane Holloman, Jeremy Holloman, Bryan Holloman and Stephen Holloman; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents; Leonard Allen and Rosa Ella Anderson Holloman; his wife, Opal Jean Forrest Holloman; two brothers, Wilbert Holloman, and Donald Holloman; and four sisters, Ethel H. Darden, Doris H. Strickland, Marie H. Baker and Lossie Belle H. Witherington.
