DUDLEY -- James H. "City Cab No. 11" Brunson Sr., 86, 281 Sleepy Creek Road, died Wednesday at home.
Funeral will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at St. James AME Church in Kenansville, with the Rev. Alexander Davis officiating. Burial will be in Brinson Family Cemetery.
Born in Rocky Mount, he was the son of the late Delia B. and Joseph Lofton, and husband of the late Rosie Campbell Brunson.
Three children survive.
Visitation will be Saturday from 3 to 8 p.m. at Garris Funeral Home chapel, with the family present from 7 to 8 p.m. At other times, the family will be at the home.
