RANDY EARL WOOD

LAGRANGE -- Randy Earl Wood, 55, LaGrange, passed away Monday, July 15, 2013, at his home on the family farm.
Randy was born Sept. 14, 1957, in Lenoir County to Earl and Jean Newsome Wood.
He was a lifelong farmer, and in previous years, assisted his parents in operating Wood's Service Station.
Randy enjoyed the outdoors and spending time with family and friends.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Rouse Funeral Home, with the Rev. Bob Smith and the Rev. Randy Herring officiating. Interment will follow at Pinelawn Memorial Park.
In addition to his parents, Randy is survived by two sons, David Alec Wood and Randy Clifton Wood both of LaGrange; sisters and brother, Diane W. Sutton of Goldsboro, Jeffery Wood and wife, Lilli, of LaGrange and Angela W. Smith of LaGrange; several nieces and nephews; and his special canine companion, Fred.
He was preceded in death by a brother, David D. Wood.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Rouse Funeral Home, and at other times at the home of Mr. And Mrs. Earl Wood.
