ARTHUR WAYNE PERRY

Arthur Wayne Perry, 65, passed away suddenly Sunday, June 16, 2013, at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Wayne was born in Wayne County Jan. 14, 1948, to the late Arthur Cleveland Perry and Margaret Hazel Moore Perry.
He retired from APV Baker.
Wayne served his country as a gunner in the United States Army.
He was a member of Southern Cruisers Motorcycle Club, and always enjoyed the opportunity to go hunting.
Wayne was a member of Rosewood Worship Center, where he enjoyed greeting friends Sunday morning.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, June 19, 2013, in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home, with the Rev. Lynn Epps and pastor Kevin Dunn officiating. Burial will follow in Wayne Memorial Park.
Wayne is survived by his wife, Charlotte Johnson Perry; children, Brian Perry and wife, Jessica, of Grantham, Lorienda M. Strickland and husband, Larry, of Goldsboro, Johnny McFatter and wife, Missy, of Goldsboro, Dana M. Bailey and husband, Thomas, of Pikeville and David McFatter and wife, Serina, of Oak Island; and grandchildren, Jerrica Saldivar, Ariel Strickland, Hannah Marie Perry, Cameron McFatter, Haleigh Perry, Savannah Strickland, Hunter Bailey, Drake Ennis, Cole McFatter, Maverick Strickland, Kaidynce Bailey and Haven McFatter.
He is also survived by brothers, William D. Perry and wife, Debra, of Grantham and John Allen Perry and wife, Carolyn, of Suttontown, and sister, Maye Ellen Perry and Dale Murat of Goldsboro.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Arthur Douglas Perry, and sister, Donna Perry Smith.
Flowers are welcome or memorials may be made to Rosewood Worship Center, 2103 O'Berry Center Road, Goldsboro, N.C., 27530.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 18, 2013, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home and other times at his home.
