FAISON -- Mary Shavers Armwood died May 22 at Wake Medical Center.
Funeral will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Smith Chapel Free Will Baptist Church in Mount Olive, with elder Antonio Blow officiating. Burial will be in Cobbs Cemetery.
She was the daughter of the late Irene Smith, and the wife of Thomas Armwood, and was born in Duplin County Jan. 9, 1938.
Visitation will be Thursday from 3 to 7 p.m. at Garris Funeral Home chapel, with the family present from 6 to 7 p.m., and at other times, it will receive friends at the home.
