SALLY V. CREECH

RALEIGH -- Sally Vinson Creech, 95, Raleigh, formerly of Dudley, passed away early Saturday, April 27, 2013.
Mrs. Creech was born March 28, 1918, in Wayne County to the late James Franklin Vinson and Bessie Ellis Vinson.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, A.G. Phelps and William Titus Creech.
Mrs. Creech worked many years as a beautician, and enjoyed painting, sewing and traveling.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, May 1, 2013, at 2:30 p.m. at Mewborn Family Cemetery.
Mrs. Creech is survived by a son, Mike Phelps and wife, Susan Allen, of Raleigh, and a brother, Samuel Vinson and wife, Carolyn, of Dudley.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 1 to 2 p.m. at Rouse Funeral Home.
