EDNA BROCK STONE

Edna Brock Stone, 85, formerly of Oak Ridge Drive, Dudley, passed away Saturday evening at Genesis HealthCare in Mount Olive.
Born in Wayne County, she was the daughter of the late William and Glennie Carter Brock.
She was a member of Brogden Chapel Church.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Pineview Cemetery.
The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service and at other times at 161 Lee Denning Lane, Mount Olive.
She is survived by her son, Joseph R. Wooten and wife, Arlene, of West Point, Va.; a daughter, Sandra Morataya and husband, Eliseo, of Mount Olive; a son-in-law, Jerry Mozingo of Dudley; a sister, Betty Jean Joyner and husband, Randolph, of Rocky Mount; 11 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 22 years, Willard L. Stone; a son, Edward Lee Wooten Sr.; a daughter, Shelia Mozingo; a grandson, Gordon Ray Wooten; daughter-in-law, Frances Wooten; brothers, Donald, Willie, J.T. and Willard Brock; and a sister, Doris Arrington.
Her grandsons, Michael Davis, Stephen Denning, Allen Reardon, Chester Wolk, Tony Morataya and Edward Wooten Jr., will serve as pallbearers.
