LAGRANGE -- James Donald "The Duck" Carter Jr., 50, died at his home Saturday.
James was born in Wayne County to Nellie Evans Carter of LaGrange and the late James D. "Bud" Carter.
He was working in lawn maintenance with Spring Green.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 16, 2013, at Wayne Memorial Park, with the Rev. Barry Teague officiating.
The family will greet friends Tuesday following the service at the cemetery.
In addition to his mother, James is survived by his brothers and sisters-in-law, Richard and Ruby Carter of Goldsboro and Jerry and Angie Carter of LaGrange; three nieces; and two nephews.
