Cheryl Ann Koger, 41, passed away Sunday, March 10, 2013, at the home of friends.
A celebration of life service will be held Friday evening, March 15, 2013, at First Baptist Church at 7:30 p.m.
Visitation will be held from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the fellowship hall. First Baptist Church is located at 125 S. John St. in Goldsboro.
Cheryl was born in Columbus, Ohio, Jan. 5, 1972, to Vicki and Michael Robbins.
She is a 1991 graduate of Wayne Community College High School Program.
She received her CNA certification, and worked at Cherry Hospital until her son was born.
Cheryl leaves her memory to her husband, Kevin Troy Koger, and her son, Nash Troy Koger, of Wilson, N.C.; her mother, Vicki Williams-Underwood and fiancé, Daniel Frederick Sawyer III, of Clayton, N.C.; her stepfather, Keith Allen Williams and wife, Mary Beth, of Wilmington, N.C.; her sister, Kaitlyn Michelle Williams of Greenville, N.C.; her maternal grandmother, Cherie Weiler of Ohio; her uncle, Michael Weiler and wife, Sue, of Utah; her uncle, Dale Weiler and wife, Carol, of Alabama; cousins, Yvonne, Zabrina, Chad, Sean and Laura; and a special friend, Donald Taylor.
Cheryl was preceded in death by her brother, Grant Allen Williams; her father, William Michael Robbins Jr.; her paternal grandfather, William Michael Robbins Sr.; and her maternal grandfather, Jack H. Weiler.
The family is being served by Howell Funeral Home and Crematory in Goldsboro.
