Evelyn Strickland Webb, 83, passed away early Saturday morning at Kitty Askins Hospice Center surrounded by her family.
Evelyn was born in Wayne County to the late Willie and Annie Conway Strickland. She was married to the late David Webb.
She will be missed by all who loved her.
Graveside services were held today at Wayne Memorial Park.
Evelyn is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Hobkirk and husband, Jim, of Goldsboro; grandchildren, Eric Toler and wife, Beth, and Joseph Toler and wife, Brittany; and great-granddaughter, Presli Grey Toler.
She is also survived by her brothers, Earl Strickland and Tim Strickland of Goldsboro; niece, Sandra Colbert; and great-niece, Kayla Williams.
In addition to her husband and parents, Evelyn was preceded in death by her daughter, Linda Bartlette; brothers, Joseph, Lonnie, Osbourn and William Strickland; and sisters, Mildred Colbert and Geraldine Strickland.
Flowers are welcome or memorials may be given in her memory to Kitty Askins Hospice Center, 107 Handley Park Court, Goldsboro, N.C., 27534.
