ANNE ROBERTS SUTTON

Anne Roberts Sutton, 74, beloved mother and grandmother, went to be with her heavenly father on Friday Dec. 21, 2012, at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today, Dec. 23, 2012, at Emmanuel Baptist Church, with the Rev. Wayne Brown officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
Anne was born in Wayne County on Sept. 14, 1938, to the late Virgil and Addie Turnage Roberts. Anne had a strong love and compassion for her family and friends. She enjoyed working with her flowers and collecting antiques with her daughters. She also cherished the time she spent working with the staff and clients at Howell's Child Care center.
Anne is survived by her daughters, Julie S. Thompson and husband, Rick, of Goldsboro, and Brigette Allen of Goldsboro; grandchildren, Chastity A. Jameson and husband, Garrett, of Goldsboro; sister, Dorothy Ingram, of Goldsboro.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Needham Farrell Sutton, and her beloved cat, Precious.
The family received friends on Saturday, Dec. 22, 2012, from 5 until 7 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home
The family would like to give a special thanks to the Brian Center Staff for the support and care shown to Anne and her family.
