Annie Ruth Sasser Collins Evans, 80, died Saturday at Longleaf Neuro-Medical Treatment Center in Wilson.
Graveside service will be3 p.m. Friday at Elmwood Cemetery in Fremont. Visitation will follow the service.
Mrs. Evans was born in Wayne County on July 13, 1932, to the late Woodrow Wilson Sasser and Gladys Louise Hines Sasser.
She is survived by two children and two step-children.
Shackleford-Howell Funeral Home in Fremont is in charge of arrangements.
