Kennedy McLaurin Jr., 16, 404 Banks Ave., died in Seven Springs Sunday, Sept. 9.
Funeral services will be held Monday, Oct. 1, 2012, at noon at the LBJ Community Center located at 1007 S. John St. A private burial will take place at a later date.
Survivors include his parents, Kim Best of the home and Kennedy McLaurin Sr. of Goldsboro; grandmothers, elder Janice Robinson of the home and Sadie McLaurin of Goldsboro; and grandfather, Tommy Faison of Goldsboro.
Visitation will be Sunday from 2 to 7 p.m. at Haskins Funeral Home, 601 E. Ash St., Goldsboro.
The family will receive friends at the home, where it will also assemble in preparation for the funeral procession.
