PRINCETON -- James Edward "B.J." McClarin Jr., 17, 423 W. Second St., Princeton, departed this life suddenly at his residence Friday evening.
He is survived by his parents, Sheila McClarin and James McClarin Sr.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at noon at Princeton Baptist Church, 211 Pearl St. in Princeton. The Rev. Darryl Prince will officiate.
His crystal blue casket will be placed in an authentic 1892 Cunningham horse-drawn hearse for his final journey to Evergreen Cemetery, U.S. 70 West.
Visitation will be Friday from noon to 7 p.m. at Haskins Funeral Home, 601 E. Ash St., Goldsboro.
The family will receive friends at the residence, where it will also assemble in preparation for the funeral procession.
