Vickie Glenn Rudd, 57, 219 Randall Lane, departed her earthly life Saturday, July 28, 2012, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro.
Vickie was born in Wayne County June 20, 1955, to the late Carlie and Queenie Victoria Johnson Pearsall.
She was a member of the 1973 graduating class of Southern Wayne High School.
A service to celebrate Vickie's beautiful life will be held Friday, Aug. 3, 2012, at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home, with elder Ricky Rose officiating. Burial will follow in Wayne Memorial Park.
Vickie is survived by her special friend, Aaron Williams of Goldsboro; her sons, Michael Kornegay of Goldsboro and Cecarhro Kornegay of Goldsboro; her sisters, Ida Hook of Goldsboro, Sharon Brodie and husband, Ricky, of Goldsboro and Deborah Richardson and husband, Charles, of Goldsboro; her brothers, James Pearsall of Goldsboro and Kenneth Pearsall and wife, Minnie, of Dudley; and a grandchild, Markida Kornegay.
In addition to her parents, Vickie was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Rudd; her sister, Patricia Hickman; and her brothers, Gary Wooten and Connie Pearsall.
The family will receive friends Thursday, Aug. 2, 2012, from 6 to 7 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home.
