Doris Rebecca Washington, 76, 909 Dorsey St., passed away peacefully Saturday in Willow Creek Nursing Home.
Her life will be remembered and celebrated Thursday at 1 p.m. at Mount Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, with the Rev. Bernard Bryant officiating. Her mortal frame will be laid to rest in Elmwood Cemetery.
Loving memories are held dear and cherished by her devoted daughters, Claressa Crawford (James), Doris Holloman (William) and Margaret Washington all of Goldsboro, and a host other loving relatives and friends.
The visitation will be held Wednesday from 2 to 8 p.m., with the family present to receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., at Haskins Funeral Home. Eastern Star rites will be conducted at 7 p.m.
The family will receive friends at other times at 2202 S. John St., where it will also assemble in preparation for the funeral procession.
