KENLY -- Sarah Elizabeth "Liz" Earp, 16, passed away Thursday, June 14, 2012, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Funeral services will be at 7 p.m., Monday, June 18, 2012, at The Bridge (Princeton campus) with the Rev. Chuck Gentry and the Rev. Andy Stovall officiating. Interment will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 19, 2012, at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.
Liz was born on Aug. 25, 1995, in Wilson County to Lee Earp and Melissa R. Earp. She was a rising junior at Princeton High School. Liz enjoyed working with children and had volunteered at Princeton Middle School in the childhood development class.
The family intends to honor Liz by making certain that the joyful spirit and laughter in this family returns in full force. They understand that this effort will require time and the help of their extended family and many dear and wonderful friends. The family finds hope in the fact that, though Liz was surrounded by love in her life, she is now experiencing the perfect love of our Lord, Jesus Christ.
In addition to her parents, Liz is survived by her sister, Christina Bottoms and husband, Greg; her maternal grandparents, Elbert and Betty Jo Richardson and her niece, Ashlyn Bottoms.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Carolyn Carter.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 7 p.m. Monday, June 18, 2012, at The Bridge (Princeton campus) and immediately following the service. At other times they will be at the home of her grandparents, Elbert and Betty Jo Richardson, 3300 Pikeville-Princeton Road, Pikeville.
