SNOW HILL -- Thelma May Suggs, 91, died Saturday, April 21, 2012, at Greendale Forest Nursing Center in Snow Hill.
Mrs. Suggs was a member of Snow Hill Church of God, and a retired seamstress.
Graveside Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 24, at Rainbow Cemetery, with pastor Crystal McCullen and pastor Arnold Ball officiating.
Mrs. Suggs was preceded in death by her husbands, William Jernigan and O.T. Suggs; two infant sons; and her son, Robert "PeeWee" Jernigan, who was of Kinston.
Her surviving family includes her daughters, Nancy "Valentine" Albert and husband, David, of Kinston, and Ella Faye Toler and husband, James, of Kinston; daughter-in-law, Linda T. Jernigan of Kinston; grandchildren, Robert Earl Jernigan of Kinston, David Lee Jernigan of Kinston, William Toler of Goldsboro, Rhonda Daughty of Kinston and Crystal Murphy of Pink Hill; and great-grandchildren, Hunter, Landon, Jacob, Jordan, Jade, Ashton, Jameson, Mackenzie, Annabelle, Luke and Logan.
The family will receive friends Tuesday immediately following the service.
