MOUNT OLIVE -- Collie Hill "Trey" Wallace III, 46, of 363 Jim Grady Road died Monday, April 9, at home.
Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday, April 13, at Tyndall Funeral Home with the Rev. Earl Esslinger and the Rev. Jeff Dail officiating, followed by a time of visitation. At other times, family and friends are welcome to call at the home of Pinky Dixon at 460 Farrior Road, Mount Olive.
Having been born in Tuscaloosa County, Alabama, Trey was mighty proud of his Alabama heritage. All who knew him know about his love for music, sports, particularly football, and above all, his beloved "Crimson Tide." For much of his working career, he had been a vehicle salesman, and was employed with AAR of Goldsboro.
Trey is survived by his wife, Kelly Roberts Wallace of the home; his parents, Judy W. and Collie H. Wallace, Jr. of Plainview; a sister and brother-in-law, Katie W. and Jim Malcolm of Philadelphia, Penn.; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Jason and Christine Wallace of Buies Creek, and Shane and Tracie Wallace of Amarillo, Texas; his mother-in-law, Pinky Roberts Dixon of Mount Olive; father-in-law and wife, Donald and Lynn Roberts of Bowdens; brother-in-law and wife, Bill and Casey Roberts of Goldsboro; and sister-in-law and husband, Amber and Kenny Odom of Mount Olive. Also surviving are several special nieces and nephews who loved their "Uncle Trey."
Instead of floral expressions, Trey's family would appreciate any contributions to go toward final expenses.
The family is being served by Tyndall Funeral Home.
