Doris Kornegay Braswell, 68, Westview Court, died Tuesday at the University of North Carolina Hospital in Chapel Hill.
Funeral will be Sunday at 1 p.m. from the chapel of Howell Funeral Home.
Visitation will be an hour prior to the service at noon.
She was born in Wayne County May 16, 1943, to the late John Forest and Getrude Coley Kornegay. She was married to the late Cedric Braswell.
She is survived by a son and three daughters.
