DETROIT, Mich. -- Elma C. Williams, 88, of 4359 W. Philadelphia St., died Wednesday at Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oaks, Mich.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at First Missionary Baptist Church, Chinquapin, with Dr. Tommie Duren officiating. Burial will be at Chasten Family Cemetery. Viewing will be held one hour prior to funeral service at the church on Tuesday.
She was born in Duplin County to the late John A. and Lillian Kelly Chasten.
Family and friends will assemble at the home of Willie C. Jones, 4085 NC 50 S., Chinquapin, at 1 p.m. in preparation for the funeral procession.
Garris Funeral Home is serving the family.
