Lillie Mae Arrington, 77, 410 Hamilton Drive, departed this walk of life Friday, Aug. 12, 2011, at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Homegoing services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. from the chapel of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.
Lillie was born in Greene County July 18, 1934, to the late Will Arthur and Willie Sutton.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Arrington Jr.; stepson, Thomas Arrington III; and a host of other relatives.
She leaves to cherish her memories nieces and nephews, John Thomas Barnes Jr. (Sharon) of Goldsboro, Vicky Washington (Carlton) of Norristown, Pa., Fannie Mae Speight of Washington, D.C., Rochelle Hobbs (John Earl) of Goldsboro, Lerone Barnes (Idell) of Fort Washington, Md., Darryl Sutton (Vroquel) of Louisville, Ky., Rena Saunders (Donald) of Grantham and Rodney Barnes of Goldsboro.
Viewing will be held Friday one hour prior to the service beginning at 10 a.m. at Howell Funeral Home.
