SPENCER HAYES
GREENVILLE -- Spencer Hayes, 41, died Saturday, Sept. 18, 2010.
Funeral Thursday 1 p.m. at Forest Hills Baptist Church in Wilson. Interment in Eureka Cemetery.
He was a probation officer for the state of North Carolina assigned to Greenville.
Surviving are his wife, Dana Watkins Hayes; daughter, Haley Lewis; his mother, Barbara Davis Hayes Herring of Wilson, who grew up in Eureka community; sister, Kimberly H. Cherry (Trey) of Wilson; brother, Scott Hayes (Sonja) of Wilson; half-brother, Jeff Godwin of Wilson; and nephews, Eric Hayes and Brenner Cobb.
The family will be at Wilson Memorial Service, 2811 Fieldstream Drive in Wilson, Wednesday 7 to 8:30 p.m.
