Danny Ray Langston Sr., 53, passed away Sunday. A native of Wayne County, he was the son of the late Oliver Langston, and Dora Mae Smith Langston.
Mr. Langston was a partner of Neuse Building Supply. He was a loving father, an avid golfer and enjoyed spending time at the beach with his family and friends. Danny attended Ebenezer United Methodist Church in Four Oaks.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Seymour Funeral Home with the Rev. Richard Lewis, the Rev. Sherwood Howell, and the Rev. Jackie Hamm officiating. Burial will follow in Wayne Memorial Park.
In addition to his mother, Danny is survived by his fiancée, Sarah Schwartz ,of the home. He is also survived by his daughter, Summer Danielle Langston, of Chapel Hill, a son, Danny Ray Langston Jr., of New Bern, his brothers, Winford E. Langston and wife, Dianne, of Goldsboro, and Terry L. Langston of Pikeville, as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Tuesday night from 6 to 8 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home and at other times at the residence, 230 Lake Park Circle, Smithfield, NC 27577 or at the home of his mother, 129 Aycock Drive, Goldsboro, North Carolina, 27530.
