DUDLEY -- Funeral for Shafter Manuel Jr., 81, 183 O'Berry Road, who died Monday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center, will be Saturday at Congregational in Dudley at 1 p.m., with Dr. Harold Daniels officiating. Burial will be in Congregational Cemetery.
He was born April 15, 1929, to the late Shafter Manuel Sr. and Mamie Cobbs.
He is survived by his wife, Hortense Smith Manuel, and his children.
Visitation will be Saturday from noon until the funeral at Congregational Church.
Arrangements are by Rhodes Funeral Home of Goldsboro.
