PATTIE G. RHODES

PIKEVILLE -- Marjorie "Pattie" Grice Rhodes, 68, passed away Wednesday at home surrounded by her family.
The family will receive friends Friday from 1 to 2 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home, followed by her funeral service at 2 p.m. in the chapel, with pastor Andy Stovall officiating. Interment will follow at Wayne Memorial Park.
Pattie was born in Wayne County Feb. 5, 1942, to the late Walter Clifton Grice Sr. and Marjorie Carlyle Grice.
She had worked for the Wayne County Department of Social Services for more than 30 years.
Pattie was a member of Whitley Church and had a great love for painting.
Pattie is survived by her husband of 48 years, Dusty Rhodes; her daughters, Kimberly Lockhart and husband, Ken, of Pikeville and Cindy Rhodes of Pikeville; her son, Philip Rhodes and wife, Sonya, of Rosewood; her grandchildren, Brad Maston, Sarah Rhodes, P. J. Rhodes, Mary-Beth Rhodes, Hannah Rhodes and Karrigann Rhodes; and her brothers, Walter Clifton Grice Jr. of Princeton and Michael Grice of Goldsboro.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Zachary Rhodes.
