HILDA W. SAULS

LAGRANGE -- Hilda Williamson Sauls, 83, went to be with her Lord Wednesday at her home surrounded by her family.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home, with the Rev. Ira Williford and the Rev. Paul Lee officiating. Interment will be Saturday at 11 a.m. in Snow Hill Cemetery.
Hilda was born in Wilson County May 26, 1926, to the late Willie Williamson and Ethel Ferrell Williamson. She was married to the late William Wayne Sauls.
Hilda was a member of United In Christ Church.
Hilda is survived by her daughters, Gloria Sauls of Goldsboro and Debbie Weeks and husband, David, of Goldsboro; her son, William Sauls and wife, Linda, of LaGrange; her sister, Melvelene Thorne of Wilson; her grandchildren, Angela Merritt, Wes Sauls, Christa Sauls, Amanda Lee, Alan Smith, Anna Weeks and Tessa Weeks; and her great-grandchildren, Blayne Lee, Ashlyn Merritt, Abby Lee, Nate Lee, William Hugh Sauls, Paul Merritt and Noah Smith.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Margie Barnes; her brother, Wallace Williamson; and her great-grandson, Austin Smith.
The family will receive friends Friday following the service at Seymour Funeral Home and other times at her residence, 2586 N. Beston Road in LaGrange.
