PRINCETON -- Roy Lee Strickland, 68, died Friday evening at Johnston Medical Center.
The funeral will be held tonight at 6 in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home in Selma. Burial with military honors will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Bizzell Grove Memorial Gardens.
He was born April 10, 1941, in Wake County, the son of the late Robert Flowers Strickland and Mildred Williams Strickland Watson.
He is survived by his wife, Frances Parrish Strickland, two sons and three daughters.
The family will receive friends following the service.
Arrangements are by Parrish Funeral Homes Inc. of Selma.
