PRINCETON -- Robert L. "Bob" Pearce, 89, died Monday.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Princeton Missionary Baptist Church, with burial following in Princeton Cemetery.
Born in Johnston County May 16, 1920, he was the son of the late Dock and Minnie Pike Pearce and husband of the late Jackie Penny Pearce.
Bob was employed with C. L. Snipes Ford in Goldsboro for 48 years, retiring in 1999.
Surviving are sons, Bobby Pearce and wife, Sharon, of Princeton, Eddie Pearce and wife, Dottie, of Smithfield and Danny Pearce and wife, Linda, of Wilmington; sisters, Gladys Johnson, Ruby Brannan, Clara Curby and Shirley Baiardi; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and special friend, Christine Massey.
He was preceded in death by brothers, John, Milford, James and H. P. Pearce.
The family will receive friends at Parrish Funeral Home in Princeton Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m.
