PIKEVILLE -- Brian Ashley Womble, 33, of Goodnight Street passed away Saturday at home.
He was born in Wayne County on March 30, 1976.
Funeral services will be held this evening at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro with visitation afterward. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Wayne Memorial Park.
Brian is survived by his parents, Sammy and Lavonne Herring Womble of Pikeville; one son, Brian Scott Womble of Moss Hill; one daughter, Ashley Lynn Womble of Wilson; one brother, Michael Lee Womble of the home; one sister, Elizabeth Danielle Casey and husband, James Douglas, of Pikeville; his niece and nephew, Kristin Brooke Casey and Ryan Douglas Casey; and his paternal grandfather, Frank Womble of Grantham.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Alma Herring and Clayton Herring; and his paternal grandmother, Ethel Womble.
