BENJAMIN OLIVER OUTLAW

WARSAW -- Benjamin Oliver Outlaw, 70, of West Wards Bridge Road died Sunday after an extended illness.

Oliver was born in Duplin County on Dec. 14, 1938, to the late Joseph Ray Outlaw and the late Ruth Grady Outlaw Byrd.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Devotional Gardens of Warsaw. Visitation will be held immediately following the service at Unity United Methodist Church and all other times at his home.

Mr. Outlaw is survived by his brother, John K. Byrd and wife, Shirley, of Warsaw; sisters, Janet Jones and husband, Cecil, of Kenansville, Ann Alphin and husband, Vance, of Mount Olive and Joyce West of Kinston; sister-in-law, Ann Outlaw of Warsaw; and nieces and nephews, Vicky Deaver, Barbara Jones, John Byrd, John Fussell, Cheryl Bass, Anna Avent, Missy Hobbs and Andy Jones who assisted in caring for him during his illness and numerous other nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Outlaw was preceded in death by brothers, C. M. Outlaw, Woodrow Byrd and sister Arleen Gowens and step-father Isham Byrd.
