Mother Shirley Jean Dew Coley, 153 Airline Place, peacefully entered eternal rest Thursday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
The triumphant homegoing service will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Christ Temple of Praise, 301 W. Green St., Wilson. Her mortal remains will be laid to rest in Rest Haven Cemetery, with pastor M. K. Smith officiating.
Precious memories are treasured and cherished by her daughters, Shirl Coley of Camp Springs, Md., and Regina Coley of Largo, Md.; a son, Gary Coley of Charleston, S.C.; six grandchildren; and a host of siblings, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held Thursday from 2 to 6 p.m. at McIntyre Funeral Home Ministries in Goldsboro.
Mother Coley's remains will lie in state at the church for viewing Friday from 10 to 11 a.m., with the family present to receive friends from 10:30 a.m. until the funeral hour.
The family will receive friends at other times at the residence, where they will also assemble in preparation for the funeral procession.
