MOUNT OLIVE -- Georgella S. Vann, 88, 126 Slocumb St., died Friday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. at North East Free Will Baptist Church, with elder Jesse Warren III officiating. Burial will follow in Carver Cemetery.
Born in Wayne County, she was the daughter of the late George and Lucy Peterson Southerland.
A viewing will be held Wednesday from 3 to 7 p.m., with the family present from 6 to 7 p.m. to receive friends.
The family will assemble at the home of William and Margaret Wider, 114 Andrew Circle, at noon Thursday in preparation for the funeral procession.
Arrangements are being handled by Garris Funeral Home.
